Interpersonal Group Psychotherapy

While the fundamentals of interpersonal group psychotherapy will apply to most of our psychotherapy groups, the interpersonal group psychotherapy group provides a safe and effective way to allow group members to address issues currently impacting your interpersonal relationships.

It is the only group offered at Kimberly Keiser & Associate that focuses on interpersonal dynamics and relationships with others as the method of change. If you want to improve personal relationships, group therapy can help you develop the ability to hear, connect with, and trust others.

Location: 2101 W 69th St, Suite 103, Sioux Falls, SD 57108

While individual therapy allows for the development of a meaningful relationship with your therapist, group therapy leverages the power of group in supportive healing. There are several key factors that are generated in a group dynamic that are not available in individual therapy. These factors are the variables that lead to change.

For example, universality is found when you share similar feelings, thoughts, and problems with others, or instillation of hope occurs when you feel optimism for your own improvement through seeing others' success.
